Command prefix
The command prefix is the character (or short phrase) you type before a command. For example, with prefix!:
!helpruns the help command!moderate @userruns the moderate command
Setting the prefix
- Open the Dashboard and select your server.
- Find Commands or General settings.
- Set Prefix to your chosen value (e.g.
!,?,lynx). - Save. The bot will use the new prefix in that server.
Slash commands (e.g.
/help) do not use the prefix; they work the same regardless of this setting.Modules and features
Lynxly can enable or disable features per server. Typical options include:| Module | Description |

Log channel
If Logging is enabled:- In the Dashboard, go to your server → Logging or Channels.
- Choose the Log channel (or “Audit log” channel).
- Save.
Welcome messages
If Welcome is enabled:- In the Dashboard, go to your server → Welcome.
- Set the Welcome channel (where join messages are sent).
- Optionally edit the message text or enable a DM welcome.
- Save.
